I believe that within each of us there is
an inner longing to feel whole, balanced and alive.

This inner sense grows out of an awareness of self,
a radical acceptance of self
as well as the courage to change that which stands in our way.

Within each of us is the capacity for transformation.

Therapy can be part of the journey toward this transformation,
toward claiming a more authentic life.

Therapy can be used to assist you in facing life’s challenges.

Uncovering old patterns of thought and behavior can often bring up
uncomfortable feelings and memories.

Growth at times can feel never ending and at other times it emerges effortlessly.
This can feel frustrating but it is a normal part of growth.

It takes commitment, fortitude and self-trust to embrace this path.

My job as your therapist is to provide you with a safe place where you can fully engage into the process of self discovery, change and growth. I will be there as a facilitator not as someone who has the answers for what is right for you.

I am client centered in my approach, meaning I trust in each person's capacity to know what works and what does not work for him or her. I utilize a wide framework when working with clients. In this framework I incorporate aspects of psychodynamic therapy, solution focused brief therapy when needed, cognitive approaches, mindfulness, body-mind therapy and relational therapy.

The joy of life is to live and to live means to be aware, joyously, drunkenly, serenely, divinely aware. —Henry Miller

If the world is to be healed through human effort, I am convinced it will be by ordinary people whose love for this life is even greater than their fear. People who can open to the web of life that called us into being, and who can rest in the vitality of that larger body. —Joanna Macy
